Ice Fishing
It swims, it darts it hops it’s the Toadie. The Toadie is a swimming jig that will move away from the hole with an abrupt lift of your rod. It works great as a search lure when fish are active. Try it with Finesse Plastic for a one-two punch combination.
Open Water
Toadies should be used with slip bobbers. A twitch of your rod tip will impart immediate action. Use the size 8 with maggots for bluegill and the size 6 with a small minnow for crappie.
