ICE FISHING:
When fishing is tough and traditional lure actions fail, the unique action of Willow Spoons will guarantee success. A fastsnap eyelet or a loop knot is recommended to ensure proper action. These lures work extremely well in shallow water and are best presented in a slow hopping, or bobbing motion. (See the Purest description for details of this deadly jigging technique).
OPEN WATER:
Willow Spoons are top producers when used below a small float or bobber and cast around piers, lily pads, or submerged trees. Try to duplicate the same bobbing motion used in ice fishing by periodically popping you rod tip.
